Thanks to all who made the 2018 ONS Annual Meeting a success!

The 2018 Annual Meeeting was held on the campus of the OU Health Sciences Center on January 28, 2018.  Nearly 50 people attended the meeting. We would like to thank our Honored Guests- Dr. Joe Cheng and Dr. Josh Rosenow- for participating in the meeting.

Meeting highlights included talks on current and upcoming legislation in the state of Oklahoma by State Senator Ervin Yen. Additional topics included ICU managment of coagulopathy, spinal deformity, evidence basis of functional neurosurgery, manangment of post-laminectomy syndrome, spinal metastatic disease, novel treatments in the manangement of pseudotumor cerebi, and adding value in spine surgery. 

Participants earned 4.0 hours of CME credit. Dr. Ben White assumed his position as the President of the ONS for 2018. Dr. Shakir Basheer was elected as the President-Elect.
