The 2026 ONS Annual Meeting was held on February 6, 2026 at the Samis Education Center on the Health Sciences Center Campus in Oklahoma City.                                                                                  The Honored Guest was Dr. Jacques Morcos. The Immediate Past-President of the AANS gave talks on ethical leadership and the relationship between skull based and vascular neurosurgery. Additional talks were given on concussion, MMA embolization for SDH, and trauma systems with a panel discussion on anterior versus posterior approaches to degenerative spine.                                                                Attendees earned 4.5 CME credits and completed the opioid education reqiuired by the OK Medical Board.                                                                                 The meeting was attended by more tha 50 providers from across the state and a robust group of medical students!                                                                                          Dr. Hakeem Shakir assumed the ONS Presidency for 2026-2027 and Dr. Michael Martin was elected as the President-Elect for 2027-2028.
